The refurbishment of the historic São Paulo Convent, classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site, resulted in the charming Vila Galé Collection Elvas hotel, which selected the Vicaima brand to integrate the emblematic project. Solutions emphasize the respect for the original seven-century features as well as the boldness of a construction that transforms the historic building into a four-star hotel.

The Portuguese forts are the theme of the time-and-space journey made from within the hotel unit located in the heart of Alentejo's historic city centre. The secular style of the São Paulo Convent is revived amidst the modern lines and bold shades, thus creating a pleasant ambiance for the hotel.
