As an expert in designing and producing solutions for the hotel sector, Vicaima was chosen to develop the room entrance doors for the recent Pestana Hotel Group project. This is the Pestana Churchill Bay and it's the first Pousada de Portugal on Ilha da Madeira.

An emblematic project at its heart, this project will take on the Pousada & Historic Hotel seal, and has a connection to Winston Churchill, where the various spaces reflect the undeniable character of the British politician with a decoration inspired by the famous painting he made during his stay on the island.

The modern décor in the 57 rooms appealingly contrasts with the remaining areas of the hotel, where English style authenticity and class are evidenced. With a plain design on one side and classic on the other, these Vicaima doors designed for the project brought harmony to the final desired decoration and style. The white finish contributed to the elegance of the room decoration, endowing the space with greater luminosity and amplitude.

The technical solution selection went for the Portaro® FD30 with acoustic isolation for the room entrance doors so as to ensure the best comfort and safety of the guests. This solution integrates door, frame and accessories and is certified by independent accredited laboratories.
