Accor Group Hotel invests in the Vicaima Match concept

2019-11-14

The solutions developed under the Vicaima Match concept comprised technical doors, frames, panels and headboards

The hotel sector welcomes another project with Vicaima solutions. The Ibis Styles Chaves Hotel by the Accor Hotels Group has amazing interiors, where all Vicaima elements perform a special function, adding harmony and differentiation to the surroundings.

The project, which preserved the identity of the original Grande Hotel de Chaves built in 1923, has been inspired by the city's historical Roman and medieval heritage. This legacy is expressed in the doors and panels used along the hotel's corridors, extending to the room interiors.

Ibis Styles Chaves Hotel

The 30 minute Portaro® fire solution with 40dB acoustic insulation characterises the entrance to each room with a tailor-made design on the door and frame, having been developed with the integration of a side panel and built in LED on the inside, to create an ambiance of elegance and luminosity. The headboards, which also reflect the hotel's historical theme and style, further enhance the pastel shades and the contrasts of blue that are present in the décor.

This balance between colours and graphics in all elements results from the use of state-of-the-art technology and innovative production processes, all of which are inherent to Vicaima MATCH solutions.

For the common areas, and with the aim of maintaining high comfort and safety levels, other Portaro® solutions were selected, including fire and acoustic doors, 30 minute single and double leaf fire doors, which also include a stainless steel frame and Dekordor® HD colours door.

The Vicaima MATCH concept for the hotel sector represents a universe of inspiring suggestions, which enable the shaping of unique styles and decorations. Versatile due to its potential to reproduce different materials, textures or graphics, the MATCH concept can be applied to the most varied elements: Portaro® solutions, panels, headboards and furniture elements, thus allowing the imagination of the professionals of the sector to be revolutionised and materialised.

This is yet another successful hotel project that is added to Vicaima's portfolio and which makes the difference by integrating the MATCH concept in a space filled with not only modernism, but also history.
