To celebrate World Day for Safety and Health at Work, Vicaima organised an internal initiative under the theme “Safety in Your Hands”, actively engaging its employees in hands-on sessions on the proper use of protective gloves.

Organised across different times throughout the day, the event was structured to include all shifts and work groups. Participants experienced real risk scenarios through specific demonstrations (abrasion, cutting, temperature, impact, among others), complemented by interactive activities and a clarification session on the risks associated with inadequate protection.

Employee engagement exceeded expectations, revealing high interest and active participation. More than just a training session, it became a moment of sharing and collective awareness about safety.
This event forms part of Vicaima’s strategic safety plan and reflects its ongoing commitment to employee protection, in line with its ESG policy principles. Promoting a safer, more conscious and collaborative work environment is an essential element of the company’s culture.
