Vicaima solutions were chosen to integrate the Next Hotel, the new collection by Savoy Signature, offering a new concept of hospitality for the Millennial generation.

Vicaima was chosen to equip the Next Hotel, on the island of Madeira, the sixth hotel with the Savoy Signature quality stamp. Located in a privileged area of Funchal, the Next Hotel is presented as a local hotel with an international essence, aiming to respond to a specific audience, Millennials, through a combination of design and high technology.

The architecture of the Next Hotel was designed to appeal to the younger generation, featuring exposed concrete interiors, open ceilings with industrial finish and art installations. The rooms and suites combine elegance and functionality, following an open space concept.

Vicaima solutions were integrated in the hotel’s common areas, rooms and bathrooms. Several units of the Portaro® EI30 AC38dB solution - a set composed of door, frame and accessories in a single piece - were installed at the entrances of the rooms, providing fire resistance for up to 30 minutes and acoustic isolation up to 38dB. This Fire and Acoustic performance solution is certified by international accredited entities, complying with fire protection requirements, and simultaneously maintaining the ideal acoustic levels for a calm and relaxing stay.

Portaro® and Portaro® Inverse solutions were also applied in this project, the latter allowing it to be integrated and faced with the wall panels, creating continuous planes, and tailored to create more harmonious settings. The finish chosen for the Next Hotel was Dekordor® HD, in a shade of grey, customised for this project.

The Hotel Next figures another reference hotel project in the Vicaima portfolio, demonstrating the continuous commitment to the national and international hotel sector.
