Vicaima Group solutions contribute to the identity and differentiated offer of the Heritage development

2026-06-12

Located in a prime spot in Coimbra, with stunning views over the River Mondego and a direct connection to the city’s vibrant urban life, the Heritage development offers a new approach to living, where architecture, community and the residential experience come together seamlessly. Just a few minutes from the Coimbra Forum and close to the main transport access points, the project, developed by Civilria, comprises 60 apartments, ranging from studio apartments to three-bedroom apartments.

The design identity creates a balanced dialogue between the presence of nature and the energy of the city, establishing a language that evokes both memory and modernity. This relationship is extended to the interiors, where attention to detail, natural light and materials results in spacious, functional and comfortable spaces, designed to meet the demands of modern life.

In this context, Globaldis, a Vicaima Group company specialising in integrated solutions for the construction industry and the brand’s exclusive distributor in Portugal, contributed to this project by providing a wide range of solutions, implemented throughout the development. Found in the entrances to the apartments, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, corridors and other communal areas, these solutions significantly enhance aesthetic consistency, performance and durability.

The Portaro® EI30 AC41 Security door, installed in the apartment entrances, combines intrusion resistance, fire resistance and acoustic performance, making a decisive contribution to meeting the development’s security and privacy requirements, whilst reinforcing the standards that define the project.

The choice of the Portaro® Pocket Door ensures fluid circulation and optimisation of space, whilst the Portaro® Inverse V1 creates straight, continuous surfaces, aligning the doors with the panels or architraves. The fitting of skirting boards complements the ensemble, ensuring visual coherence and continuity.

As regards the interior flooring, the choice went to the Pratik Oak multi-layered flooring from Globaldis’ extensive Vicfloor® range, which was installed in Building 14, harmoniously combining the beauty of wood with the required dimensional stability and durability. At Heritage, every detail contributes to creating a story that celebrates the city’s charm.

As you walk along the corridors, a design signature stands out, lending elegance and a sense of continuity to the space. The Bamboo Caramel flooring by Vicfloor® applied on the walls, as well as the oak slatted panels, reflect a harmonious connection between nature and the residential experience offered by the Heritage development.

The range of solutions provided by Globaldis also includes custom-designed wardrobes and kitchen furniture, developed specifically for this project to meet the technical requirements and reflect the envisaged identity.

Visual harmony was a key factor in the choice of finishes, creating a cohesive look throughout the interiors, where functionality and aesthetic appeal are perfectly balanced. Doors, panels and kitchen furniture feature a bespoke cream shade created for the project, from the Lacdor Premium range, reflecting the elegant, understated style characterising the residential complex.

The Heritage development stands out as a residential project which celebrates the connection between the city and the Mondego River, creating a harmonious balance between history and modernity. In this context, Vicaima Group’s solutions contribute to the creation of environments that enhance comfort, safety and the quality of life, as part of an integrated approach to residential architecture.
