Vicaima integrates the New Hotel Mercure Fátima

2021-05-20

The latest Accor Hotels group unit integrates security and comfort solutions bearing the Vicaima seal

Launched in April right next to the Shrine of Fátima, the new Mercure Hotel grants its customers and guests a set of security and comfort solutions branded by Vicaima, a major European player in the design and production of avant-garde solutions for doors, frames, wardrobes, panels and furniture items. With the application of numerous Vicaima Portaro® solutions, in the room entrances, common areas, emergency exits and service areas, the Mercure Fátima assures the compliance with the most important security, acoustic and energy performance regulations.

Accordingly, the Portaro® Fire and Acoustic Inverse EI30 AC39dB was selected for the entrance to the 72 rooms, integrated with wall panels. This new hotel development also included Portaro® EI30, Portaro®, Portaro® Sliding and Portaro® Pocket Door in the common areas, namely corridors, emergency exits and restaurants, all of which ensure excellent performance, designed for locations demanding the strictest requirements.

Options for the finishings were selected from the Dekordor® HD range, which boasts high impact resistance and offers easy cleaning and maintenance, as well as Lacdor RAL 9011 Graphite Black, both tailored to the project’s distinct and bold aura.

All the Vicaima solutions fitted in the Mercure Fátima are fully adapted to the requirements of the property in terms of security and comfort, as well as to the specific nature of its surroundings. The solutions with fire and acoustic performances included in this project are attested by international accredited entities, thus delivering maximum comfort and security to the hotel guests and enhancing Vicaima’s continuous commitment to the sector.
