The Peninsula Paris Hotel
Vicaima was selected to provide joinery solutions for The Peninsula Paris Hotel, which is the first hotel of the HSH Group (Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels) in Europe. Exclusively designed for this project, the brief included doors, frames, skirting boards, panels and technical shafts, with tailor made detailing.
For the room entrances of this hotel, was exclusively developed and certified the Portaro® FD30 AC46dB. The Portaro® FD30 single and door pairs were also supplied for the corridors, and Portaro® FD30 AC41dB pairs for the technical shafts, these being highly effective products with regard to fire resistance and acoustic performance. Matching with the decoration and glamour of this hotel is the design of the Vicaima doors themselves, with flush doors and solid wood customized frames, in an acajou and specific high gloss finish.
Meyerhold Opera Hotel
Vicaima, was selected to renovate the 1930’s inspired ambiance of the sophisticated Meyerhold Opera Paris Hotel.
Inspired by the hotel’s setting, Vicaima door solutions were exclusively developed, in quarter cut walnut veneer with a sunrise effect and matt finish, matching the environment recreated at the hotel and inspired by the Bahaus constructivism. Vicaima has provided the Portaro® AC42dB FD30, a solution which includes door, adjustable frame to wall thickness and accessories in one single piece, and therefore, of rapid and efficient installation, due to its adaptation to existing building structures. Amongst the solutions provided are also the sliding doors in the interior the suites, with tailor-made details.
This luxurious villa located in Deaunville, France, was equipped with Vicaima Haute Couture products, with Rayon and Sinus doors from the Makassar Collection.
This door collection stands out for its stylized volumetric shapes and golden metallic detailing in ebony veneer with matt finish, that bring glamour and a distinctive aesthetics to the décor of the space.
L'Arbre Voyageur Hotel
L’Arbre Voyageur is a luxury hotel located in the centre of Lille, which brings together diverse Vicaima technical solutions into a single harmonious design and functional concept.
Situated in the centre of Cannes, the four star Montaigne Hotel & Spa has chosen Vicaima Portaro ® doors for the refurbishment of their hotel which comprises 96 bedrooms, reception rooms, spa, restaurant and offices The hotel chose Portaro ® Connect for its entrance doors. These integrate door and frame with a computerized fire control system, that can be accessed online. Customized with different veneers, doors from Vicaima’s Exclusive 5 collection have been used with aluminum inlays and CPL in Wenge finish, which provide a perfect visual balance. In shades of Oak Portaro ® Connect also forms part of the entrance to the Spa and plant room areas, which require high levels of security and control.
The Montaigne Hotel & Spa has Portaro ® connecting doors between rooms with FD30 fire resistance and soundproofing up to 32 decibels, all with veneered finishes of natural maple. Bathrooms doors slide to optimize use of available space.
Fire protection is provided in various zones of the building with FD30 Portaro ®, which has been used for emergency exits, hallways and restaurants, in single doors or pairs, with or without glazing.
Hotel Martinez by Hyatt
This hotel renovation project reflects the charm and the glamour of Côte d’Azur. The 5 star Hotel Martinez was inspired by an Art Deco style and the challenge was to develop designs for room entrances and communicated rooms, with doors and frames in a customized design. Portaro performance door sets selected with 30 minute fire rating and incorporating acoustic insulation varying between 40 and 42dB. The chosen finish was a stunning high gloss white lacquer, which created the perfect contrast to the predominant blue and yellow soft tones in the hotel.
Hotel Best Western Chalet Les Saytels
