Catalonia Puerta del Mar hotel

The Catalonia Puerta del Mar hotel is the latest hotel in this prestigious chain in the Andalusian city, which has once again chosen Vicaima interior door solutions to provide comfort, security and elegance to this project.
From the bedroom entrances to the lobby and dining areas, including the rest of the common areas, the multiple options of the Portaro® - a set comprising a door, frame and accessories in a single piece - blend in harmoniously with the identity and requirements of this hotel.
The focused attention given to the security and comfort of the hotel’s users is reflected in the meticulous technical selection of the implemented elements, with particular emphasis on Portaro® EI30 AC44dB, which effectively combines fire-resistance with acoustic insulation of up to 44 decibels, assuring the well-being and privacy of guests. This solution was complemented with the Portaro® EI60, offering resistance up to 60 minutes, also applied in the Inverse version, which allows the doors to be aligned with the panels or architraves, creating straight and continuous surfaces.
Complementing these options, the Portaro® Sliding, which contributes to optimising areas, and the Portaro® Double Action, which facilitates mobility between different spaces, complete the range of Vicaima solutions that equip the Catalonia Puerta del Mar.
In terms of finishing options, so as to ensure that they blend in harmoniously with the hotel’s specific identity, two customised options from the Lacdor range were used for this project - the first in dark blue (NCS S7010-R90B) and the other in light beige (NCS 2002Y) - in line with the city’s ethos, which is rooted in the sea and the beach.
In a hotel where minimalist design combines with details filled with elegance, the application of a custom frame, featuring a bespoke design, on the exterior side of the room entrance doors also deserves special mention.
